Go Lisa Go!

I will eventually blog about something other than Dancing with the Stars. LOL I'm just excited about the dances they did tonight.

Let's start with, I thought I was going to miss the beginning of the show. I had a 5:00 doctor's appointment so I thought I had plenty of time to get home before the show started. I walked out of the doctor's office at a quarter of. I was a bit panicked because the way home is paved with construction. But I made it home with about two minutes to spare. *whew* ;)

Anyway, Lisa Rinna is really starting to shine. I think she has a strategy though. Have you noticed that the last two weeks she's opted to dance the same dance as the celebrity men rather than what all the other celebrity women are dancing? That way she can't be compared to the other women when being scored. Of course she's doing the same dance as the professional women but you know, she's really stepping up. I'd really like to see her stay in the competition to the end.

Who did you like this week?

Since I'm at work and hopefully my trusty DVR has taped it, I won't know who I like best till I watch it tomorrow. But I like Lisa a lot. She has a great attitude and it's obvious that she's taking this seriously. Plus I loved how she put the picture of her girls inside her costume top last week for luck. Watching her hubby, Harry, get all misty-eyed after she dances is sweet, too!

Wrassler chick, Stacy, is awesome. She is so graceful, I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that she's a WRASSLER!

And honestly, I like Tia Carerra. She's so sweet and graceful.

At this point, I'm even charmed by P. I hate to see any of them go...even P. (don't boo and hiss me...LOL)

I think P is out tonight. They scored him so low that it would take a miracle AND a helluva lot of phone calls to save him.

You're not alone, I blogged about Dancing, too.

Last season scoring was based on a 1 to however many were competing that night (in this case 7). Top couple got seven points, bottom couple got one point. And the audience vote was worked the same way. Top call in vote gave the recipient seven points (in this case) and one point to the lowest call vote recipient. They added those two point values together for the overall score. So the actual number the judges gave them didn't matter as much as the point value it was vs. the call in point value. I'm assuming that's what they're doing again this season. And I assume that's how P has stayed in the competition this long. But, no matter what else you say, he was a good sport, in the big picture.

Oh, and Tia got several of my votes last night. I really like her too and I'd like to see her continue further in the competition. Heck, I like all of them. Can we have a six way tie - seven if we can bring back Giselle?
