Bad Blogger

Yes I know I've been a bad blogger. I've been trying to prioritize my time and between school and work, other things have fallen by the wayside. Like my social life, and my blogging. And the sad thing is, I feel like I'm failing at everything. I've been studying my tail off in my geology class and I'm still not doing well in there. The instructor keeps changing his mind on how he's going to calculate our grades and I'm beginning to worry that getting a B may be an optimistic dream. I'm currently working on accepting whatever grade I get in that class because I know I've done my best and that's all I can expect from myself. It's hard to accept, but I'm working on it.

But, in the meantime, I've missed some things in my personal life. For example, a couple of months ago I got an email from my online chapter, reminding me that it was time to renew my membership. At the time I thought "I have time" and did nothing. Next thing I knew, the deadline has passed (the whooshing sound and all) so I guess I'm not a member at the moment. I'm not unhappy with the chapter, I want to be a member - it's just that particular detail fell through the cracks with everything else going on. Never fear though, I'll be back when class is over (a week and a half from now - THANK GOD!!!). In fact, I think I'm going to have a blog party, complete with door prizes. So, feel free to stop by between now and a week from Wednesday but just know, come a week from Thursday, there'll be a party!

Until then...dig up your old party hats, invite your friends to stop by and come prepared to have a good time (no pressure on me or anything!!! lol).
